An exploration of contrast

My name is Jordan Giessmann-Garvin, AKA JAGG, and I’m an emerging artist from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. As an acrylic painter, I am constantly inspired by the contrasts present in the world around me. I find beauty in the juxtaposition of light and dark, chaos and serenity, warmth and coolness. Through my art, I aim to capture these contrasts to convey the complexity and richness of life.

While the world may be full of discord and contradictions, I believe that the true value lies in the people who inhabit it. Each individual adds a unique hue to the canvas of life, enriching the overall tapestry with their experiences, perspectives, and emotions. In my paintings, I strive to celebrate the diversity and interconnectedness of humanity, emphasizing our shared emotions and journeys, despite our differences.
